If your GP provides you with a mental health care plan, or if a Psychiatrist or Pediatrician refers you, you can claim part of the fee (up to $145.25 per session) from Medicare for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. You may also be eligible for a rebate from your private health fund if you have ancillary (extras) cover.
Fees for individual therapy sessions are set below the recommended rate set by Australian Psychological Society.
Full fees for individual sessions are $280 per 50-55 minutes
The initial assessment session is $380 per 60 mins
Payment is due at the time of the sessions and can be made by debit card or credit card
If you need to cancel, change, or postpone an appointment, please notify us by phone at least two business days in advance. If less notice is given, the full session fee will be charged.
By signing the consent form, you authorize us to collect your credit card details and charge the full session fee if you do not provide at least two business days' notice to cancel, change, or postpone your appointment.
